Successful completion of the DataVaults Innovation Action

The final review meeting for the DataVaults H2020 research project was held on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, wherein the DataVaults consortium presented to the external reviewers and the project officer (PO) of the European Commission the final results of the project. The key goal of the project, that the consortium succeeded in accomplishing is the delivery of a novel framework and architecture that leverages personal data, coming from diverse sources to help individuals construct their unified personal data hub, collect at a single point all of their personal data in a secure and trusted manner, and retain ownership and control on what to share and with whom, also receiving compensation for the artifacts they place at the disposal of other third parties.

UBITECH has led the project’s integration process and orchestrated the iterative releases of the DataVaults platform, from the initial Alpha version all the way to the current 1.0 Version. Moreover, UBITECH provided, among others, the components related to the policy-compliant blockchain infrastructure used for the secure logging and auditing of all data trading transactions and helped to define and shape the risk assessment models and utilities provided to the data owners for the identification of their privacy risk.

The reviewers and the PO were excited with the overall results of the project and provided really interesting feedback and recommendations for future, post-project work and exploitation. Learn more about the DataVaults H2020 project here: https://www.datavaults.eu/
