
UBITECH has been honored with the Research & Innovation Award at the ΕΒΕΑ – ACCI | Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry Awards 2026, a distinction that recognizes the company’s long-standing commitment to research excellence, technological innovation, and the transformation of advanced knowledge into solutions with real-world impact.
The award ceremony took place on June 3 at the Megaron, Athens Concert Hall, bringing together representatives from government, academia, and the business community to celebrate organizations shaping the future of the Greek economy through innovation and entrepreneurship.
The distinction acknowledges more than two decades of continuous investment in research and development, cutting-edge technologies, and the successful transfer of innovation from research environments into practical applications. Over the years, UBITECH has evolved into one of Greece’s leading deep-tech and AI companies, with a strong presence in European research initiatives and strategic technology projects across Greece and international markets.
The Research & Innovation Award was presented to UBITECH by Professor George Doukidis, Professor of Electronic Business at the Athens University of Economics and Business.
A particularly meaningful moment for the company was the reference made by Yiannis Bratakos, President of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who highlighted UBITECH as an example of a Greek technology company that consistently invests in innovation, research, and the creation of internationally oriented technologies. His remarks emphasized the importance of a new productive model for Greece, driven by technology, innovation, and extroversion—principles that have shaped UBITECH’s journey for more than twenty years.
