UBITECH proudly supports the Portables UBITECH FTC team, which has achieved outstanding distinctions at the FIRST Tech Challenge Greece 2026 National Championship, securing its place at the FIRST World Championship 2026 in Houston, USA.
The team will be one of only two teams representing Greece at the global competition — marking a significant milestone and a strong recognition of its excellence in innovation, engineering, and overall impact
The Portables UBITECH team delivered an exceptional and well-rounded performance throughout the competition, securing:
- 1st Place – Robot Game (Winning Alliance Captain), leading their alliance to victory across both qualification rounds and playoffs
- 2nd Inspire Award, the competition’s highest overall distinction, recognizing excellence in technical performance, innovation, strategy, collaboration, and impact
These achievements position the team among the top performers in the national robotics ecosystem and pave the way for its participation on the global stage.
Beyond competitive success, the team demonstrated a strong commitment to community engagement and inclusion. Throughout the event, members actively connected with teams from across Greece, exchanging ideas and fostering collaboration within the broader FIRST community.
As part of the FIRST Like a Girl initiative, the team implemented outreach actions aimed at encouraging greater participation of girls in STEM, while also conducting interviews with participants from diverse backgrounds — highlighting inclusion, representation, and the human dimension of technology.
For the Portables UBITECH team, success is not defined solely by awards, but by the ability to inspire, include, and contribute meaningfully to the community.
