Successful final review for the SecureIoT Research and Innovation Action

After 3 years of an exciting R&D journey, the SecureIoT Research and Innovation Action H2020 co-funded research project (Grant Agreement No 779899 – https://secureiot.eu/) had a successful final – virtual – review by the European Commission on the 23rd of February 2021. The SecureIoT project aims to secure the next generation of dynamic, decentralized IoT systems comprising multiple IoT platforms and networks of smart objects, through implementation and provision of a wide range of predictive IoT cybersecurity services. The SecureIoT consortium successfully presented the results of the project, where UBITECH’s Digital Security & Trusted Computing research group presented its Programming Support Service (PSS) as part of an end-to-end live demonstration of the Social Assistive Robot (SAR) use case. Programming Support Service (PSS) enables IoT application developers to flexibly secure their applications by adopting a set of programming annotations in their IoT applications. The reviewers and the PO were excited with the overall results of the project and provided some really interesting feedback and recommendations for future work.
