Successful mid-term review for the 5G-INDUCE Innovation Action

The EC co-funded 5G-INDUCE project has successfully completed its mid-term progress review process on the 29th of September. The partners have highlighted the key achievements of the project in the fields of a) the service oriented 5G-INDUCE NetApp orchestration platform, b) the NetApp based use cases for Industry 4.0 verticals and c) the deployment of the industrial 5G testing infrastructures in Spain, Italy and Greece with operator grade 5G connectivity. Positive feedback has been received with respect to the achieved technical progress, and kind recommendations for promoting the exploitation potentials of the project to unfold its full potentials in the emerging 5G industrial service deployment sector.

UBITECH as the project’s technical manager has provided the technical overview presentation and also had major contribution, together with CNIT, on the successful demo showcasing of the first integrated and fully functional version of the 5G-INDUCE platform. The platform will be integrated in the following months over the 3 industrial infrastructures enabling the validation and demonstration of real 5G Industry 4.0 services. The final demonstrations are targeted for Q4 of 2023.
