UBITECH participated at DEFEA 2023, a high-profile international defence exhibition where international companies presented land, naval, aerospace, national and cyber security defence systems, which was held in the Metropolitan Expo facilities, Athens, on May 9-11, 2023. The exhibition included over 300 exhibitors from 22 countries and counted over 12000 visitors from 54 countries over 3 days, and concluded with great success, and it was an excellent opportunity for UBITECH to communicate the company’s cyber security R&D expertise and solutions. UBITECH’s presence attracted the interest of the participants (both visitors and other exhibitors) who had the chance to visit the stands of the company and get informed about the company’s expertise, the innovative solutions being developed in-house and also the relevant research projects.

In this scope, UBITECH presented developments in cybersecurity and trusted computing and ready-to-use solutions such as OLISTIC enterprise risk management framework and MEDUSA AI-backed threat intelligence solutions, both highly relevant to DEFEA participants.  In addition, a selection of research projects was presented with a focus on cybersecurity and surveillance. Among them, at the forefront of UBITECH’s stand, the visitors had the chance to meet the CYSMET* platform, a solution that enables Integrated, Dynamic & Collaborative Risk Management System for Maritime Transport & Supply Chains, AENEAS*, a Complete Solution for Maintaining Privacy and Control of Personal Data in the Provision of Personalized Services. Also, we presented CADMUS* cyber security framework that enhances security and data privacy in cloud computing deployments. Finally, we presented how efficient service orchestration assisted by HYDRA AI-enabled orchestrator can be used in smart surveillance scenarios based on drones. Finally, our colleagues Alexandros Vasileiou and Giannis Ledakis explained how the PUZZLE H2020 framework could easily and efficiently tackle the challenging threat landscape of cloud applications.
