UBITECH participates in the Ministry of Digital Governance press conference for the new myGov Wallet.

On Thursday, 25 September 2025, the Ministry of Digital Governance hosted a press conference where Minister Dimitris Papastergiou presented the new myGov Wallet, redesigned with enhanced features to make digital services more accessible, user-friendly, and impactful for citizens.

Representing UBITECH at the press conference, Dimitris AlexandrouCo-Founder & Business Innovation Director, emphasized the company’s role in delivering cutting-edge innovation to public services, simplifying procedures, and strengthening trust between citizens and the state. A key highlight of the event was the introduction of mAigov, the Digital Assistant developed by UBITECH, which brings artificial intelligence into everyday interaction with the public sector.

As the first AI-powered application of the Greek public sector, mAigov provides conversational answers to citizens’ questions about public administration and includes action bot capabilities. Beyond information delivery, it allows users to perform tasks such as issuing a Responsible Declaration or retrieving a Marriage Certificate, directly from their mobile phone. These documents are automatically stored in the Citizen’s Inbox for future access.

Key Features of the new myGov Wallet

The wallet is strengthened with new features that will continue to expand, with the goal of becoming one of the main points of citizen–state interaction by 2027. Citizens will be able to access public services and information directly from their mobile phones.

  • Digital Assistant mAigov: The first AI application of the Greek public sector, answering citizens’ questions about public administration and including action bot capabilities. Citizens can quickly issue a Declaration of Responsibility by typing or dictating the text and recipient, as well as a Marriage Certificate, which is automatically stored in the “Citizen’s Inbox.”
  • Citizen’s Inbox: Provides immediate access to new documents or notifications from public administration.
  • Search for digital public services: Using keywords or “life events,” similar to gov.gr.
  • Personal Number access: Secure access to the citizen’s Personal Number, preventing storage via screenshots. If not issued, the app links directly to gov.gr to obtain it.
  • National Communication Registry: Manage personal contact details.
  • Emergency SMS to 112: Sends device location coordinates in emergencies.
  • Document authenticity verification: Scan gov.gr documents to verify authenticity.
  • Redesigned home screen: Consolidates all key features of the application for easier navigation.

With over 20 years of research and innovation and active participation in European and international projects, UBITECH continues to lead the way in developing high-impact digital solutions. As a Greek company with global presence, we remain committed to shaping a future where technology serves society with integrity, reliability, and purpose.
