UBITECH presents the achievements of the TheFSM data platform project at EBDVF

UBITECH participates in the European Big Data Value Forum (EBDVF) which took place in Prague, Czech Republic on November 21-23, with a central theme of “At the Heart of the Ecosystem for Data and AI”. The European Big Data Value Forum brings together industry professionals, business developers, researchers and policy-makers from all over Europe and other regions of the world to advance policy actions, and industrial and research activities in the areas of Data and AI. The EBDVF 2022 is organised by the Big Data Value Association (BDVA), IT4Innovations (VSB – Technical University of Ostrava), Plan4all and Charles University in Prague in collaboration with the European Commission (DG CNECT). It has been granted with the Czech Republic Presidency Auspice.

In the context of the session “Lessons learnt from Data Platforms projects”, our own Nikos Papageorgopoulos presented the achievements of the TheFSM project in a captivating discussion that focused on the transfer of knowledge and main assets from the project to the current Data Spaces community. The TheFSM project aims to boost the way that food certification takes place in Europe, by delivering an industrial data platform that facilitates the exchange and connection of data between different food safety actors, who are interested in sharing information critical to certification.
