UBITECH participates in EEMA Open SSI Forum introducing the GLASS eGovernance paradigm

UBITECH’s Dimitris Ntalaperas proudly participated in the Open SSI Forum, an open event that brings together technology experts, policymakers, and senior leaders from the public, private and academic sector institutions from across Europe and beyond and is organised by the non-profit think-tank EEMA (https://www.eema.org/). The Open SSI Forum constitutes an unconference with a clear European angle that provides real insights into the current state of the identity world, having the ability to network and discuss the latest ideas and innovations. Dimitris Ntalaperas had the opportunity to present the achievements of the EC funded project GLASS, in a thought-provoking session that involved productive discussions and debates on identity.

A few words about GLASS: The EC-funded GLASS Research and Innovation Action brings together recognized European SMEs and large enterprises, with universities and public authorities from all parts of Europe, with the ambitious goal to integrate the multi-disciplinary expertise of each organization for the development of a novel eGovernance paradigm. GLASS puts the individual at the heart of controlling their own relationship with government and business, by introducing novel governance services facilitating free movement to citizens and businesses, producing strong social, societal, economic, technological and scientific impact and leading to an advanced e-government solution aligned fully with the EU eGovernment Action Plan 2016-2020 and the EU Digital Single Market strategy.
