UBITECH was invited, as a Cloud Computing expert and coordinator of the RAINBOW H2020 Research and Innovation Action, to provide feedback on the draft of the document “Cloud Computing in Europe: Landscape Analysis, Adoption Challenges and Future Research and Innovation Opportunities”, developed by the H-CLOUD project. H-CLOUD (https://www.h-cloud.eu), that is an H2020 CSA project supporting the European Commission in the linking with the Cloud Computing Community in Europe, is organizing a set of webinars to discuss challenges and opportunities of Cloud Computing for the next work programmes spanning from research and innovation (Horizon Europe) to deployment (Digital Europe and Connecting Europe Facility 2) of Cloud technologies. Dr Panagiotis Gouvas, the co-founder and R&D Director of UBITECH, participated in the online webinar called “Strengthening EU Cloud Providers: Paving the Way for Edge and Green ICT” and provided feedback based on his extended experience in Cloud related research projects and his expertise in Security, Networks and Cloud/Edge computing.
