UBITECH proudly announces its participation in the prestigious IEEE Big Data 2024 Workshops, showcasing four groundbreaking research papers across two key workshops: the IEEE International Workshop on Big Data Applications for Fight Against Crime and Terrorism (BDA4FCT) and the IEEE International Workshop on Benchmarking, Performance Tuning, and Optimization for Big Data Applications (BPOD 2024). These workshops bring together leading experts from academia, industry, government, and law enforcement agencies (LEAs) to drive innovation in Big Data applications addressing critical societal challenges.
In particular, the IEEE International Workshop on Big Data Applications for Fight against Crime and Terrorism (BDA4FCT) brings together researchers from academia, industry, government, and LEAs to present the state of the art along with novel ideas and discuss the latest advances in the area of the application of Big Data for crime and terrorism activities detection and prevention as well as border checks/management, while the IEEE International Workshop on Benchmarking, Performance Tuning and Optimization for Big Data Applications (BPOD 2024) brings researchers and practitioners together to better understand the problems of optimization and performance tuning in a big data environment, to propose new approaches to address such problems, and to develop related benchmarks, tools and best practices.
Through its active engagement in BDA4FCT, UBITECH highlights cutting-edge methodologies for leveraging Big Data to combat crime and terrorism, with a focus on advanced detection, prevention strategies, and border management solutions. Simultaneously, UBITECH’s contributions to BPOD 2024 underscore its commitment to optimizing Big Data environments, presenting novel benchmarks, tools, and approaches for performance tuning and system efficiency.
