Konstantinos Oikonomou, Software Engineer and Research at the Computing Systems, Software and Services Research Group of UBITECH, was invited to participate in the “SWForum.eu Webinar: Leveraging OS technologies for better services in the European software ecosystem”, which will be held online on the 10th of October 2022. Leveraging existing technologies and services, the SWForum.eu aims to raise awareness and strengthen the competitiveness of the European Software Industry by facilitating a sustainable European forum that encourages both researchers and practitioners, as well as projects in software, digital infrastructure, and cybersecurity to create intersections of expertise and a multidisciplinary approach to research and innovation.
In particular, Konstantinos’ talk on “Cloud Standards for Data-Driven Policy Management” presents the views and related developments of the H2020 PolicyCLOUD Innovation Action. His presentation will focus on interoperable data driven policy making and the approach of the PolicyCLOUD project in terms of ethical and legal compliance, with special focus on a thee-dimensional end-to-end analysis using a novel interim repository, that was developed as part of the project.
