The final – virtual – review meeting for the ASCLEPIOS H2020 co-funded research project (https://www.asclepios-project.eu/) with external reviewers and the project officer from the European Commission side, took place on June 9, 2022, wherein the ASCLEPIOS consortium successfully presented the final results of the project. The key goal of the project, that the consortium fully met, is to maximize and fortify users’ trust in Cloud-based healthcare services by developing mechanisms for protecting corporate and personal sensitive data.
UBITECH led the integration of the project, ensuring that all components of the ASCLEPIOS framework can communicate effectively and efficiently and can be successfully utilized to meet the pilots’ requirements. Moreover, UBITECH contributed to enabling Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) mechanisms to ensure the security of critical ASCLEPIOS components, as well as Attribute-Based Encryption (ABE) to handle the dynamic encryption and decryption of sensitive medical data.
The reviewers and the PO were excited with the overall results of the project and provided some really interesting feedback and recommendations for future, post-project work.
