The competition will take place from October 8th to 11th, 2024, in Turin, Italy, and is set to gather the brightest young cybersecurity talents from across Europe and beyond. The European Cybersecurity Challenge is an annual event supported by ENISA, the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity. It serves as a premier platform for discovering and nurturing the next generation of cybersecurity experts through Capture The Flag (CTF) competitions, fostering collaboration and innovation across the cybersecurity community. Teams from European and selected non-European countries will compete to solve complex cybersecurity challenges over two intense days of on-site competition.

The Hellenic Cyber Security Team has consistently demonstrated excellence and resilience, successfully meeting the high standards required to participate in the ECSC alongside technologically advanced nations. With this sponsorship, UBITECH aims to help identify and train the next wave of cybersecurity professionals through a series of rigorous tests and exercises that take place immediately after each annual competition.
UBITECH is particularly proud to announce that two members of its Secure Systems & Trusted Computing (SST) Research Group – Nikolaos Mourousias and Chronis Sapountzakis – have been selected to represent Team Greece in the upcoming ECSC 2024, as Senior Players.
