In the context of Enlit Europe that was held in Paris from November 28 to 30, UBITECH organized the BEYOND project final event. The BEYOND project, for which UBITECH carries out the overall project coordination, offers a big data platform and a set of technologies that allow a data consumer to search, find and utilize data generated by buildings (data owners). Based on these, the data consumers can run analytics and simulations that are needed to design a project and exploit them during the real-time operation of the buildings so as to optimize their operation and energy performance.
Ending this November, BEYOND presented in this final event its main results and lessons learnt. Ms. Louiza Kachrimani from UBITECH gave the overview of the project together with its mission and goals and its results and outcomes. Tasos Tsitsanis from Suite5 presented the BEYOND Integrated platform and the data analytics tools developed in the frame of BEYOND.
During this event, the results of two sister projects were presented namely, the PHOENIX project by Ms. Eleftheria Petrianou and frESCO project by Juan Antonio Aranda.
Finally, Stavros Stamatoukos, Policy Officer at DG Energy, European Commission gave a presentation on the Common EU Energy Data Space, the ongoing activities, policy framework and the latest developments.
