UBITECH is excited to announce its participation in the kick-off meeting for the ARISE action: “Advanced AI and RobotIcS for autonomous task pErformance”. Hosted by TWI Hellas in Athens, Greece, on February 2, 2024, this initiative marks the beginning of a transformative journey that began officially on January 1st, 2024. Funded by the European Commission (Grant Agreement No. 101135959), the ARISE project spans four years, concluding in December 2027. Its mission is to develop a robotic platform tailored to the Energy and Agriculture sectors, crucial drivers for the European Green Deal’s progress. Specifically, ARISE will focus on automating tasks critical to Solar Panel installation, maintenance, and hydroponic lettuce harvesting.
UBITECH participates at the kick-off meeting hosted by CERTH (January 30 & 31, 2024) in Thessaloniki, Greece of the CEDAR Research and Innovation Action, officially started on January 1st, 2024. The project is funded by the European Commission (Grant Agreement No. 101135577) and spans on the period January 2024 – December 2026. CEDAR will (1) identify, collect, fuse, harmonise, and protect complex data sources to generate and share 10+ high-quality, high-value datasets relevant for a more transparent and accountable public governance in Europe; (2) develop interoperable and secure connectors and APIs to utilise and enrich 6+ Common European Data Spaces (CEDS); (3) develop innovative and scalable technologies for effective big data management and Machine Learning (ML) operations; (4) deliver robust big data analytics and ML to facilitate human-centric and evidence-based decision-making in public administration; (4) validate the new datasets and technologies (TRL5) in the context of fighting corruption, thus aligning with the EU strategic priorities: digitalisation, economy, democracy; (5) actively promote results across Europe to ensure their adoption and longevity, and to generate positive, direct, tangible, and immediate impacts.
UBITECH participates at the kick-off meeting hosted by UPRC (January 30, 2024) in Athens, Greece of the NITRO Digital Europe Action, officially started on January 1st, 2024. The project is funded by the European Commission (Grant Agreement No. 101145872) and spans on the period January 2024 – December 2026. NITRO aims to contribute to and foster the creation of a 5G-IoT cyber range which refers to a specialized cybersecurity testing and training environment that focuses on simulating and evaluating the security of 5G networks interconnected with Internet of Things (IoT) devices and applications.
UBITECH ENERGY participates at the kick-off meeting hosted by RINA-C (January 30 & 31, 2024) in Genoa, Italy of the THUNDER Innovation Action, officially started on January 1st, 2024. The project is funded by the European Commission (Grant Agreement No. 101136186) and spans on the period January 2024 – December 2027. THUNDER aims to overcome existing barriers hampering a wide adoption of waste heat from Data Centers, by developing sustainable waste heat recovery and seasonal storage solutions available to DCs in urban environments, in order to supply heat to neighbouring District Heating Networks and at the same time providing a cooling /service to the DCs.
UBITECH hosted the kick-off meeting of the CyberSuite project in Athens, Greece on 24-25 January 2024, officially started on January 1st, 2024. CyberSuite has received funding from the Digital Europe Programme (Grant Agreement: 101145861) and spans the period January 2024 – December 2026. CyberSuite offers a holistic cybersecurity framework to simplify the design, dimensioning, configuration, deployment and management of diverse cybersecurity services, providing advanced levels of security, privacy and trustworthiness for SMEs, into a single platform, directly targeted to fill the existing gap in the market, through an “easy-to-onboard” and “easy-to-deploy” cybersecurity services marketplace.
UBITECH participates at the kick-off meeting hosted by ATHENA (January 23 & 24, 2024) in Athens, Greece of the AI-DAPT Research and Innovation Action, officially started on January 1st, 2024. The project is funded by the European Commission (Grant Agreement No. 101135826) and spans on the period January 2024 – June 2027. AI-DAPT brings forward a data-centric mentality in AI, that is effectively fused with a model-centric, science-guided approach, across the complete lifecycle of AI-Ops, by introducing end-to-end automation and AI-based systematic methods to support the design, the execution, the observability and the lifecycle management of robust, intelligent and scalable data-AI pipelines that continuously learn and adapt based on their context.
UBITECH participates at the kick-off meeting hosted by UPRC (January 16-18, 2024) in Athens, Greece of the COMFORTAGE Research and Innovation Action, officially started on January 1st, 2024. The project is funded by the European Commission (Grant Agreement No. 101137301) and spans on the period January 2024 – December 2027. The COMFORTAGE action constitutes a joint effort of medical experts (i.e., neurologists, psychiatrists, neuropsychologists, nurses, memory clinics), social scientists and humanists, technical experts (i.e., data scientists, AI experts, robotic experts) and Digital Innovation Hubs to establish a pan European framework for Community-based, Integrated and People-Centric prevention, monitoring and progression managing solutions for age-related diseases and disabilities.
UBITECH ENERGY participates at the kick-off meeting hosted by Fraunhofer (January 15 & 16, 2024) in Brussels, Belgium of the TwinEU Innovation Action, officially started on January 1st, 2024. The project is funded by the European Commission (Grant Agreement No. 101136119) and spans on the period January 2024 – December 2026. TwinEU will leverage a unique set of competences coming from grid and market operators, technology providers and research centres to create a concept of Pan European digital twin based on the federation of local twins so to enable a reliable, resilient, and safe operation of the infrastructure while facilitating new business models that will accelerate the deployment of renewable energy sources in Europe.
